HMS hosted a fun evening of learning for parents and their pre-K students about the importance of being your child's most important teacher by reading to them daily.
There are several benefits of reading to your children, whether it's a classic novel or fairytales before bed, reading aloud to children can significantly benefit your child's life.
Some of the benefits include:
Supporting cognitive development
Improving language skills
Preparing for academic success
Developing a special bond
Increased concentration, imagination, and creativity
And lastly, cultivating a lifelong love of reading!
